It's that time of the year again! Fall leaves, pumpkins, and mystical ambiance. Halloween and all the holiday fun it's associated with is wonderful and a favourite of many, but it's also a sacred time for witches and those following a celtic path. Here are some correspondences to make your holiday and ritual planning a bit easier!

In the celtic calendar, Samhain marks the beginning of the dark half of the year and winter. It is also the time of the final harvest of the year - meat. It's the time of year when the animals that wouldn't be likely to make it through the winter would be slaughtered and preserved for food for the long winter months.
